The Getty Museum in Los Angeles has a collection that spans over 1000 years. On this tour, you will get a brief introduction to the Getty’s architecture and gardens and then, moving into the galleries, you will see some of the highlights of the Museum from various collections including Manuscripts, Decorative Arts, Paintings, Sculpture, Drawings and Photography. You will have an opportunity to view some of its best-known pieces and a few hidden gems as well.
Our guide, Lee Rubinstein, holds dual degrees in English and History with a minor in Art History. She has been leading tours at the Getty since 2012. Additionally, she runs a year-long volunteer art program at a public school with disadvantaged pupils.
This tour is for FHNN and Little Falls Village members and volunteers as part of our collaboration. Register online. FHNN members or volunteers who need help registering can email information.fhnn@gmail.com with Getty in the subject line.
