Kathleen Nadeau, PhD, clinical psychologist and founder of The Chesapeake Center, is an internationally recognized authority on ADHD. She has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD since the 1970's. A prolific writer, she is the author of 18 books about ADHD and a frequent lecturer on the topic. Because many members of her family are affected by ADHD, she has an intimate, in-depth perspective on the challenges of living with ADHD. She'll be joining us to speak about her research on older adults with ADHD, the basis of her book Still Distracted After All These Years: Help and Support for Older Adults with ADHD. Come join FHNN for bagels, a brief presentation followed by an interactive discussion of ADHD in older adults and how diagnosis and treatment at any age can be life changing.
