Eldercare Mediation with Paula Gibson
Friday, November 8, 2:00-3:00 pm
This Zoom Program is Open to Everyone
Our speaker is Paula Gibson who is the founder of the Gibson Mediation Group. This program will focus on eldercare mediation. Paula’s practice also includes divorce mediation.
The goal of eldercare mediation is for families to communicate with each other and evaluate the best options for the care of their elderly adult family members. It can help you to develop a written plan (that the mediator will draft) to summarize the issues and solutions that you reach in mediation. Mediation can help resolve issues without having to go to court to settle disputes. It is particularly helpful when geographic distances make it harder to communicate.
Eldercare mediation discussions include who will be responsible for legal, medical, financial, and living arrangement decisions and how they will fulfill those responsibilities.
