Explore the artistic contributions of women from the 16th century to today with our hostess, Sara Sennett. During this self-directed tour, participants will have the opportunity to look closely at a selection of artwork from the museum’s collection. The featured artists push the boundaries of their materials, use innovative techniques, and challenge expectations of art across time and place. The museum’s collection includes a wide range of works in a variety of mediums by artists including Rosa Bonheur, Louise Bourgeois, Lalla Essaydi, Lavinia Fontana, Frida Kahlo, Hung Liu, Zanele Muholi, Faith Ringgold, Niki de Saint Phalle and Amy Sherald.
[Our knowledgeable presenter will be Michelle Koppl, who is on staff at the museum.]
TOUR IS FOR FHNN MEMBERS, VOLUNTEERS AND THEIR GUESTS ONLY. If you need help with registration or transportation; email FHNN at information.fhnn@gmail.com. We will make our best effort to arrange rides.
