The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Arts of West Africa: Akan Gold to Benin Bronze, Friday, July 29, 10:30-11:30 am. MFAH presents an overview of their African art collections, including African gold, Benin bronze and a wide range of African artifacts from West Africa. The works of art presented come from Ghana, Nigeria, Benin, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mali, Liberia and other countries.
