Home-Land: Exploring the American Myth<br />at American University's Katzen Arts Center<br /><br />Saturday, July 30, at 11:00 am - 2:00 pm<br />Take a docent-led tour of Home-Land: Exploring the American Myth--an exhibit curated by Michael Quituisaca and Alexander Schuman.<br />Then browse at your leisure through various types and mediums of contemporary art from around the globe at the Katzen Center. Afterward, meet for lunch at Millie's Restaurant, 4866 Mass Ave in Spring Valley, at 12:45 pm. (Millie's offers outdoor dining option).<br /><br /><br />This summer, Katzen art exhibitions feature the work of Caribbean artists, Czech artist Josef Achrer, Bethesda's River Road Community, and more.
