The Art and Life of Georgia O’Keeffe
The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, Santa Fe
Friday, November 4, 1:00-2:00 pm
Delve into the art, life, and times of one of the most significant artists of the 20th century, Georgia O’Keeffe (1887-1986). O'Keeffe has been called the "Mother of American modernism." O’Keeffe’s images—instantly recognizable as her own—include abstractions, large-scale depictions of flowers, New York cityscapes, and New Mexico landscapes.
The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is the largest repository of O'Keeffe's artwork, personal effects, and related archives including correspondence, ephemera, and photographs, as well as two historic homes.
Tour is for FHNN and LFV members and volunteers only as part of our collaboration. Email information.fhnn@gmail.com with "O'Keeffe" in the subject line to register. Visit The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Link for an updated list of all current works on view in the Museum galleries.
