We are offering a 4-week Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation, led by Andy Streich, FHNN and LFV volunteer. Registration preference will be given to FHNN and LFV members and volunteers and current members of the FHNN and LFV Meditation groups. We request you register for this series if you can commit to attending all four sessions. Attending every session will allow you to gain the maximum benefit from this program.

Each week Andy will focus on a specific topic: #1 (April 16) Body/Breath; #2 (April 23) Feelings/the Heart; #3 (April 30) Mind/Thoughts; and #4 (May 7) - Putting it All Together. To sign up for the series, logged in members can register online by clicking the Register Now button on this page. Members and everyone else can register by emailing us at information.fhnn@gmail.com with Meditation Series in the subject line. Space is limited! Registration preference for FHNN members, active volunteers, and current Meditation members will expire on Sunday, March 31 cob (or sooner if spaces are filled).  Registrations will be confirmed. We will keep a wait list.

This is an FHNN/LFV collaborative program. For non-members of FHNN and LFV whose registration is confirmed for this program, we suggest a donation of $10-$20 to defray program costs.

Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally, in the service of self-understanding and wisdom.Jon Kabbat-Zinn
