During his distinguished career, Herb has covered the consumer beat for NBC News Digital, NBC’s TODAY Show, and CBS News—among other organizations. He is also a long-time friend of LFV Founding Director Todd Smith!

Identity theft is a national epidemic, with no end in sight. The consequences for victims can be both financially and emotionally devastating. ConsumerMan Herb Weisbaum, a contributing editor at the non-profit Consumers‘ Checkbook, will share practical ways to fight back against this increasing threat and stop online thieves from stealing your money and personal information. Herb has been reporting on scams for more than 45 years and says he knows how to beat the bad guys!

Join us for a hands-on cooking adventure. We‘ll start making the pie at 10:30 am and then sit down to enjoy the fruits of our labor with a wonderful Greek salad and the fresh-baked pie. Best of all? Members can take home leftovers!

Explore the artistic contributions of women from the 16th century to today with our hostess, Sara Sennett. During this self-directed tour, participants will have the opportunity to look closely at a selection of artwork from the museum’s collection. The featured artists push the boundaries of their materials, use innovative techniques, and challenge expectations of art across time and place. The museum’s collection includes a wide range of works in a variety of mediums by artists including Rosa Bonheur, Louise Bourgeois, Lalla Essaydi, Lavinia Fontana, Frida Kahlo, Hung Liu, Zanele Muholi, Faith Ringgold, Niki de Saint Phalle and Amy Sherald.

This class emphasizes balance, posture, strengthening of muscles, and exercises adapted for seniors. Experienced yoga instructor, Judy Silberman, leads this class weekly class, which is offered by Little Falls Village.
